About Me |

| PLEASE CHECK IN REGULARLY WITH THIS SITE. THE GIG LIST IS UP TO DATE!How do you write songs about today? how do you make music that has a meaning of now, what's the reason so many people relate to this, why don't you want to hear "Mustang Sally' again and again and again? why are you bored by the same old songs sung by the closed? not bowing and not repeating things in a pale colour.....................when we croak, ..............better or worse, .............it was us.We've been together for over ten years now, have played all over Europe and the U.S. and are at the moment gearing up for summer when we'll be travelling for much of the season while still keeping our regular London gigs rolling.
Check in the section above for a guide to some of our gigs, or if you want to get in touch with a view to booking us contact Sam Hooper on 00 44 (0)7734 006675 or email genie812@hotmail.com. Alternatively send us an email through myspace or call 00 44 (0) 20 8670 7798.
You can view a two minute demo' film of us by clicking on 'videos' to the left.
The best place to see us right now is on a Sunday afternoon at 'The Blue Posts', a great London venue with free admission, from 4-7pm.It's a welcoming atmosphere and perhaps our favorite place we've ever played.Try and get there for the early show as it tends to get very busy later on.It's just a moments walk from Piccadilly Circus to Rupert street where the venue, and the band, sits waiting for your personal appearance.. Music:Member Since: 4/12/2007Band Members: In The Fallen Heroes most of the songs we play are our own and are written and sung by Ben Martyn who also plays the bass. We are proud as Punch ( a well known exceptionaly proud being) that at our shows the more discerning members of the audience appreciate the original material most and that to rehash the past glories of Rome alone is but a small and somewhat inconsequential part of a small musicians work and is best heard at home, alone, on a hi-fi. Dominic Pipkin (36-28-36) also writes some of the tunes and sings on them like a ring tailed racoon while Paul Bonner blows that trumpet like nobody and is considered the face of The Fallen Heroes.Tony Rico (ill mannered) fiddles around with the sax, mingles with the in crowd and occasionaly whips his flute into a musical frenzy. John 'Radio' Roscoe plucks the guitar but refuses outright to even touch a banjo.Emile Martyn smacks drums, tables & chairs and shouts with and at the audience in his own style.A cockerel in a crushed velvet waistcoat sometimes passes through the band on barritone, but you can not always trust in that.Lot's of people who have seen us have claimed they now lead richer and more fulfilling lives .............................. there is no reason you won't feel the savage pull of life's truncheon when you hear us too!
