| In early 2007 singer/songwriter Rod Black teamed up with fellow Vancouver songwriter/Producer Jeff Johnson and Engineer/Producer Gordini. It all started off as a writing project but soon formed into a rock act. With the help of Dan Swinimer, Shane, Flip & Dave Muselman Jet Black Stare was born. The recordings found their way to Chief (Nickleback,Hinder) & Brightman Music and shortly after, the word spread to various major label reps across North America. The choice was obvious - Island/Def Jam would be the perfect fit. Look for JBS's first single "Ready To Roll"to hit radio stations all across North America in early May followed by the record release in late June. US,Canadian & European dates TBA. Latest news: The songs "Ready To Roll" & "It's Over" will be featured in the upcoming EA video game NASCAR 2009 |
