Music:Member Since: 4/16/2007Band Website: patsavage.net Band Members: My musical story so far!My musical career started at an early age listening to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones records that my mother had. After seeing a Jimi Hendrix concert on television I started playing the guitar. Shortly after that I bought my first guitar. I played blues, country and rock and learned very quickly. At one point my younger brother picked up the guitar so I switched to playing the bass.Because of the blues music I loved I also started to play the harmonica. This subtle howling sound represented for me the blues. I even played harmonica in a big band for some time. After that I played in many different blues and rock bands, but also played bass in a hardcore band (A.agression), a heavy metal band (Saint Vitus Dance), a great funk band (Manu Funk Tura), crazy project Womanizer and a Latin-Jazz group called Los Mulatos.Nowadays I am playing a wide variety of styles with Franklin Batta and his Backbones with The Brenda Johan band with Wanessa Davis band with Strolling Bones with Brothers Bashir fusion project and of course with my soul brother in The Pat Savage Band, but my heart always returns to the roots of music, the blues..I am now playing in The Pat Savage Band full time and soon will be playing and riding my own custom Harley in our new Discovery Channel series "A Bikers Lifestyle...The Savage Roads" all over the world!I still like it simple, hard driving and rough and ready. But when the batteries are dead, the blues will always be my recharger. Thanks for being my friend! Peter PAT SAVAGE BAND VIDEO THUNDERTOWN HOG RALLY DURBAN SOUTH AFRICA After taking planes from Amsterdam to London, London to Johannesburg, then on to Durban, we had time to soundcheck, grab a quick bite to eat and then played a 3 hour set for over 1000 Harley folks from all over South Africa and the world. We have blended 4 different songs together here for your enjoyment and to get an idea of what we are all about onstage!
