Having only been in stores for a few months after there release of ‘Talking to god’ the record label quit. Now FETO Records is re-releasing this special package as we feel that these albums still stand the test of time and were never given the right amount of exposure as they deserved. The CD begins with the widely acclaimed debut “Cursed Again”, FROST have taken the Black Metal blueprint of pure necro grimness and torn it in half. “Talking To God” focuses on a whole new dynamic previously untouched, heavy in thick atmospheres and overpowering in it’s towering heaviness, fueled by the dual serpentine vocal attack of The Fog and The Shid. Anaal Nathrakh polymath Mick Kenney again leads the ceremonies, this time taking Frost to new territories of forward thinking extremes and expansive song writing. Dwelling upon the shadowy fringes of modern Black Metal, Frost are evolving. Still dripping in glorious necro hell but advancing beyond these boundaries. “Talking To God” is a forcefully challenging masterwork. Again conceived in the confines of the dreaded Necrodeath Studios for that extra special harrowing chill over several months in 2003, it is now time for “Talking To God”. PRESS ‘Imagine Euronymous writing riffs from beyond the grave through the body of Nocterno Culto, with Attila on vocals, it wouldn’t be original in the least, but you’d damn well want to hear it, no? Now’s your chance’ James Hinchcliffe. Terrorizer Magazine 9/10 ‘Talking to god is a full blown apocalypse; arguably the most vicious and nasty slice of black metal to emerge from this country’ Malcome Dome – Metal Hammer 8/10 ‘(DMDS era) Mayhem worshiping black metal so horrid it could curdle fresh milk. If you thought black metal was about keyboards and zombie girls, one blast of the icy noise contained within will set you right’ Nick Ruskell. Kerrang magazine KKKK’s ‘Cursed again is among the best BM albums you’ll find this year and one that’ll stand menacingly on its own for many years to come. An album so rife’n’ripp(l)ing with none-more-grim atmosphere that as cryogenically chilling as the bands namesake: darkly artful and dankly a(nta)gonising. In equal measures’ Nathan T Birk – Terrorizer magazine You have been marked on my profile map! Click to zoom-in. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 |
