Electronic project born on 2005 in Turin, the italian motorcity, in the long shadows of an Olympic Winter. Neurz are Cyborg and Urz, a nonmusicians duo linked by a large sound_video passion.

URZ: is working already from 2003 with homonymous band, founded by him, with DJ Ultraviolet and with Buzzness (composer, polyinstrumentalist). The trio realized: an EP, “Saudade/Trasformaçoes” (cd_r), many joint works with DOCTOR JAZZ'S UNIVERSAL REMEDY (“Groovy Night” rmx) and a famous live performance based on music and samples, shadows and lights. On the same period, with Walrus, Urz gives birth to Kaphè, a design now in activity.

CYBORG: is working already from 2004, with DJ Ultraviolet, at Forn Plakes experiment. The duet realized, on 2004, the EP “Porn in the U.S.A!” (cd_r) and, on 2005, the EP "Sexxxmas in Space –John Lemon vs. Yoko Mono-" (cd_r). On the same year they cooperated with Kings of Ignorance.

The duo, charmed by experimentation, by sound_image’s mixture and by hypnotic ambient_glitch’s sonorities, is working with the mixture of new noises and old sounds; they’re combining synthesizers with guitars and drum machines, in a musical exchange that often happens on the web, a real_virtual place of meetings and teamworks (also with other musicians).

They realized on 2005 the soundtrack of "OLIM", a short film directed by Francesco Lattarulo, that was presented at TORINO FILM FESTIVAL (section of “Spazio Torino”). Neurz currently are working with the cultural association “La Lokomotiva” and with Senso Doppio, an experimental company of players, on the adding of a soundtrack of short films and documentaries.
