Upcoming Shows *We Support/Supported By* *How we work- Answers to Frequently Asked Questions* We open at 6:30 and close at 11:00 p.m. The cost unless specefied otherwise is ALWAYS $6.00 All ages are welcome. All types of bands are welcome. There is no smoking inside the building or on the porch. It is allowed outside and only outside- no exceptions. If you bring drugs, alcohol, weapons, or anything inappropriate you will be asked to leave. Moshing is allowed at this point in time but as long as it is kept clean. No fighting. If someone falls- help them up. If you have a bad temper, then do not mosh. If you want it to last then we are asking people to be responsible enough to handle themselves. If you are hanging out outside, you will have to pay for a wristband or leave.Once you pay you will be expected to stay on the premises, if you must leave for whatever reason you are expected to act appropriately. If a neighboring business gives us a complaint on a particular person we have no problem not allowing that person back. So help us out and just behave. All workers are volunteer, we do not have any paying positions at this point in time. *History* It all started with Haralson County being rather boring. For a lot of teens the only fun things they can find to do is partying, drinking,smoking pot, and things of that nature.The teens that aren't into this and want to have fun must leave Haralson County.You go to Carrollton to go to the movies, or Douglasville to the mall, or Villa Rica to see bands play, etc. There are simply no teen hangouts in the area. We decided that a music venue would be a great idea, it would be a drug,alcohol, and tobacco-free environment for people to hang out,it would be a new place for bands OF ALL TYPES to play,it would be the only venue in the area that allows moshing, but heres the crazy part- WE TOOK ACTION! After about 2 months of working, gathering support, planning, brainstorming, collecting money, and asking advice- we found our dream was becoming a reality. Over the 2 months-a lot of people became less involved, a lot of people became more involved, new people fell in and out of the project, we faced a lot of criticism and skepticism, we were hit with all sorts of problems,we were discouraged at times, but we kept on with the project despite everything we made it! *Whats going on now* We have been open for over 9 months! We are working on putting together some huge shows and trying to get some huge bands to come to The Hangar. New T-Shirts are in the works! A Hangar Street Team is in the works!
