To make the listener not only succumb to the message they are sending, but to often, figuratively, make the them kneel down and emotionally "break". With nothing more than than their love of the music and their creativity in tow, ANTENORA have but one goal...to make you, the listener, walk away breathless. ANTENORA was nothing more than an idea in the mind of guitarist COLE MARTINEZ (ex-Years of Fire, ex-Forever Untouched) and drummer BRIAN HANCULAK (ex-Years of Fire) to form a completely different melodic metal band. After being in and around the Cleveland metal scene, the initial idea progressed into what you hear now; a complex assemblage of melodic European influenced undertones and sheer 100% undeniable ferocity. It's this culmination that not only stands out in the melodramatic and sometimes putrid music scene that Cleveland has become, but that also grabbed the attention of vocalist JONNY "VEGAS" SAYRE (ex-Ventana, Erase the Grey) bassist ANDREW "OGRE" LENTHE and live guitarist STEVE SIMBECK (Burning Vegas). From their debut show with SOILWORK, to their popularity amongst the internet savvy, ANTENORA is steadily proving themselves to be a force to be reckoned with. They may not be trendy.
