About Me
A N U B I S "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE" Pronounced "A NOO BIS The Official A N U B I S MySpace Site We will carry your Soul across the Nile as written in the Prophecy and there you will hear our music and be at rest. Please click on Anubian Merch Logo for ANUBIS Merchandising, T-Shirts etc. A N U B I S was formed in May 2007 by "Pete Williamson", "Sarah Cockburn" (Pete's Daughter) and "Simon Lees ex Budgie lead guitarist" in order to write and record our own brand of music in our respective studio's in Whittington Shropshire & Wolverhampton. Since it's conception the band has created interest across the globe and has recently inlisted a second guitarist, the former Budgie Lead Guiarist (2002) "Andy Hart" and former Dante's Fox Keybord player "Al Dawkins". The band will be taking it's show on the road in 2008 mainly at festivals across Europe and hopefully beyond. Each person involved has very different musical influences and styles. The Band Members are: PETE WILLIAMSON - ! ANUBIS ! (The Jackel Headed Geezer) who's influences are Hawkwind, Gong, Tim Blake and other Space Rock / Ambient Bands, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Motorhead, BAP, Rammstein, Scorpions and not least of all Pink Floyd. ISIS ! who's influences are very varied, ranges from Acid Jazz, Ambient Jazz, 80's Rock and Electronic Music, modern day Rock such RHCP and SOAD, also some classic rock such as Led Zepplin.
