I started playing guitar a few years back, I had messed around with an old acoustic guitar my father kept around the house, but I started taking it seriously and then started really writing music for poems I had written before. There really is no individual musician who inspired me to pick up a guitar or to start writing songs, it has always been something I pushed myself to do. As far as what I write about, I write about what I feel and what I see or do in life. I have written songs about different places I have been, different stories I have heard, and different things I have seen or done. I tried to start a band when I was younger, but finding dedicated musicians was, and is still, very hard. I eventually managed to start a band, called COBOL Tongue, but felt that the songs I wrote for myself were way too personal to play with a band. But COBOL Tongue is still awesome, and you should check us out!
As far as where I am now, I have experienced different things, and I have written about many of them. I am currently in the process of finding shows and recording so that I can tell my stories. I need to get this out.
