Hi everybody, and welcome to the MySpace home of Ajax The Dog where you can remove your pantaloons while you dig the tunes. Oh, and watch where you step.
Ajax The Dog is the current project of former Blue Shadows frontman Matt Kollock. A definite departure from Blues and the 1-4-5 progression, This music is a virtual glimpse into the current state of Matt's gray matter (or what little gray matter there is left). Matt describes Ajax The Dog's music as "Futuristic Classic Rock". Still not sure what that means, but it kind of makes sense after a while.
Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Matt continues to work on new nuggets of noize for the eventual completion of Ajax The Dog's debut album, Solving For X. One man, one outdated Mac, one crappy guitar, one bargain microphone, and one very dog-eared (pun intended) old notebook. One musical dog with an ancient Greek moniker. Matt hopes you dig the tunes.
