Don't let his age fool you. Ryan Alan plays and sings music with a soul and sensitivity way beyond his twenty years. The Baton Rouge born now Alabama-based artist is quickly establishing himself as that rare triple threat; a singer, songwriter and musician. But what’s most impressive is Ryan’s ability to connect with his audience as he takes them on an aural ride that goes from zero to sixty and back again leaving listeners breathless and just hanging on. Ryan, whose music touches the depths of jazz, blues and jam band with a warm Southern vibe, credits influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to The Allman Brothers. “It’s an all-audience kind of sound,” he says. “Good music has to have soul, and you have to have soul to play good music.” Ryan has that heart and soul to spare say his critics. And while his sound indeed appeals to fans of all genres, Ryan’s music is a style all its own. Two of his original songs, “Temporary Escape” and “Lonely in Love,” have already become popular with his fans. “If I don’t know about it, I won’t write about it,” says Ryan.
