I care about what this country's coming to. I care about what we'll be leaving to my children and your children. I care about human rights. For those reasons and more, I involved myself with a highly ambitious web project as a co-developer and admin. This is a brand new community venture for grassroots groups and concerned citizens. The goal is to grow a new specialized social network - one where X_Censorship_X won't be an issue as it has been lately on mainstream networking sites - one where the website operators, patriots like yourselves, will NEVER sell out to global (NWO) interests! PatriotCalendar is a virtual ghost town at the moment. We need enthusiastic folks to come on in and make themselves at home! Please hustle on in and start the "bustle". In addition to your normal methods for getting the word out about organized events, we invite you to also list your events on PatriotCalendar, which is organized into states and cities. As more and more organizations and groups list their events, we believe several advantages will take shape! 1) You will know when other groups have planned similar events on the same date in your city. Having this perspective will make it easier to engage in creative/collaborative event planning or to combine activities, if you wish. 2) Newcomers to civic action wanting to get involved will have a centralized source for planning which events they want to attend -- and they may find that they can attend multiple events that are organized by different groups and scheduled on the same day; or, they may find related or similar events to attend, even if on different days. 3) We can paint a picture of activism across the U.S. If we show how incredibly MANY concerned citizens and diverse groups are mobilizing, we stand a better chance of further growing the popluarity of civic involvement! (Wouldn't that be great?) 4) With an easy, central means of communication between groups, we can create a more unified voice while still using that same voice through decentralized efforts and channels. The Patriot Calendar offers a free subscription service that will deliver a weekly calendar of events to your email if you like. You can email events to friends. You can also choose to set two (2) email reminders for yourself in advance of any event that interests you! Another very important and useful feature included at PatriotCalendar.com is The Patriot Files fileshare. This is a file upload/download area that allows you to share informational tools like brochures, handbills, flyers, letters to editors, essays, whitepapers, graphics and multimedia. You retain the copy rights for all material you share; and, during upload you can choose to apply a Creative Commons license for your shared work, if you wish. The Patriot Files section is arranged in categories based on the Issues/Topics of the files, and is also searchable! So, please, come share your literature, graphics (and more) that you'd like to make available for distribution by others.
