About Me

It forms the first part of The Red Book Trilogy, a series of fantasy fiction novels suitable for both children and adults.

"The Fatal Verse of the Valley" - Synopsis:

When a strange lady in white passes through his remote village, far to the north of the Shale Valley, Behvyn Hahn follows her.

Yet this simple act plunges Behvyn, his brother and his friends into the heart of portentous events that have waited to be unleashed since the lands were first brought into being.

With the race of Hudrons spilling out of myth, a bewitched King lying in a deadly trance, the arrival of an armed and dangerous Scarecrow and the maniacal Captain Fetlock determined to see him hanged for a murder he did not commit, Behvyn learns of the five Verses of Power - but the only clue to their location is also known to his enemies.

So begins a deadly chase through the Shale Valley as the fate of all hangs in the balance.

REVIEW: Ratatouille

This is a hard sell.  Firstly, you've got to buy-in to the anthropomorphisation of rattus rattus.  I've seen rats; you don't think twice before calling in the exterminators.  An...

REVIEW: Control (Ian Curtis - Joy Division biopic movie)

I love and hate Joy Division, because they make me care.  'Control' is about their lead singer Ian Curtis, who hanged himself from the kitchen ceiling of his house on May 18th, 1980. Jeff Buckl...

'Across The Universe' is a Beatles sing-a-long movie that's pointless unless you're familiar with their lesser known album tracks. Happily, that sums me up to a tee, and so 'She Came In Through A Bath...
