He began playing guitar at the age of 16. His early influences are Prince and those great eighties Rock guitarists. It was during that time that David re-discovered the Blues and the Blues music that he inherited from his Mississippian parents. David started performing in various local Blues, R&B and Rock bands cutting his live guitar and vocal chops live and in person. David's style of singing and guitar playing is derived from all of his past and current music influences. Now all he wants to do is play music with the feeling and grit that it so richly deserves. David formed his band so that all of Michigan and beyond could share in his soulful rockin' experience. He hopes to be performing till he plays his last note up on the stage, and then be dragged off because he has joined his music heroes in the sky.
