| Mon nom de scène est Yung Jay (ou Young Jay) du fait de la première lettre de mon nom ( Jean ). Je compose uniquement en anglais car j'aime la langue et trouve que la musicalité de celle ci correspond au mieux au style hip hop. J'ai 19 ans et reste persuadé qu'une porte peut s'ouvrir dans le monde artistique si le travail que j'effectue reflette qui je suis et se fait dans la plus grande honnêteté. " reste qui tu es ". J'ai débuté le rap en 2004 en reprenant des chansons déjà existantes. Au fur et à mesure j'ai apprivoisé mon propre flow. Je suis Chanteur/Compositeur et accesoirement Producteur mais je suis persuadé que la production n'est pas l'un de mes points forts. Actuellement ( 2007 ) je suis étudiant et ai comme objectif de monter ma propre boîte : une maison de production. La route ne sera pas facile, c'est pour cela que j'espère rencontrer les bonnes personnes et avoir des opportunités. Je ne laisserai jamais tomber la musique car c'est un moyen pour moi d'exprimer ce qu'il se passe dans mon esprit. Pour moi la musique est une drogue dure mais sauf que si l'on en devient addict, il n'y a pas de cure... c'est à vie. La musique pour moi c'est : la passion, les sentiments, du travail! Même si la musique reste un art, elle n'en reste pas moins un travail trés difficile! pour finir je tiens à citer une expression qui devrait plus faire réfléchir les gens : " L'habit ne fait pas le moine "...My name is Yung Jay (or Young Jay) because of the first letter of my name (Jean). I write my songs in english only because i like that language n find its musical quality matches the most with hip hop style. Im 19 and Im persuaded i got my chance in the artistic world if the work i do corresponds to what I am n remains honest. " stay what u are ". Iv started rap for three years tryna rap what famous rappers rapped... One thing leads another I found my own flow. Im a singer/writter and accesorily a Producer but Im persuaded that musical production is not one of my best skills. At the moment (2007) im a student and my aim is to create my own enterprise : my label. it will be no jokes dats why im willin to meet the right people n have opportunities. i will never give up music cause its a way for me of expressing what happens in my mind. In my opinion, music is a hard drug except that if u become an addict theres no cure...u an addict for life! if i had to define music : passion, feelings n work. Though music is an art, its a very hard work!To finish id like to quote a sayin which should make people think more : "it is not the cowl that make the monk" ... | |
