Before I was 5 yrs old I flew half way around the world to escape my wartorn country...a little place called Vietnam. My Mom married a navy officer and away we went traveling military style(3)yrs. in the Phillipines,(3)yrs. in Japan (7)yrs. in Va. Beach,Va. After high school I went into the air force and at 18 found myself a kazillion miles from home in Osan, Korea. I put in for my next duty station to be in Homestead,Florida...so they sent me to the exact opposite location, Las Vegas, Nv. where I have been trippin in the desert for 20 years! I'd like to meet:Anyone who has lived an interesting,unselfish life...people who have positive energy and don't whine and pity party themselves. Music:Anything soulfoul from James Taylor to Nina Simone to Louis Armstrong. Played flute and clarinet in high school and can play some acoustic guitar. One of my favorite songs is "Paint it Black" by the Stones and "Here comes The Sun" by the Beatles. I like the oldies but goodies too...Tchaikovsky's "The Sleeping Beauty",Wolfgang Mozart'symphony in G minor,,Molto Allegro,Ludwig Van Beethoven's Fur Elise. |

Movies:Anything with the great Alain Delon shown above!!! My favorite though is (Purple Noon). Anything with Nina Simone music in it(Point of No Return),(Thomas Crown Affair),(Before Sunset). 50 first dates(the whole idea of unconditional love is well, for lack of a bigger vocab...beautiful). De Niro in(Taxi)...(Don Juan DeMArco)...love the whole cast. All James Bond flicks! Angelina Jolie...(Girl Interrupted)love her ENERGY and intensity! |

Television:I'm an insomniac so I think I've seen all the infomercials. They don't offer good sleeping pills for a reason. Like to remember all the shows we grew up with. Remember when my Dad first brought home atari's PONG game. We thought we were jamming with Double pong! |

Heroes:My Mom...she left everything she knew from her friends and family and basically her world to save our lives and give me a future. She is definitely the strongest and most wonderful woman I have had the pleasure to know and love in my life. My Dad,his Mom, my aunt and uncle, and my brother,15 years my junior,are all in the same league. They are all such dynamic people who have done so much good and affected other peoples lives in ways they will never know...these humble people with there quiet ways are ethereal and other worldly to me...perhaps we have met in other lives because my connection to them is so STRONG! |
