| LENTINOThe idea was to re-interpret in a contemporary way the character of the dwarf made in plaster cast that we can see in the gardens of various houses.
I wanted to create a metropolitan version of this tiny dwarf that is projected to the dynamism of our present times.I painted it in a pearl colour to make it assume a glamour or mysterious figure, even a deity between his fellows, than I made for him a case that was able to twist the perception of his real shape, that could break it down in a digital effect, even in an hologram to arrive sometimes to an undefined form.Behind the dwarf the case is painted in the same pearl colour, in this way his image vanish a little, but there is one element that still set him close to his origin, his identity: the outside is made of a thin foil of wood that is the link with his natural habitat, the garden. ..Milanese designer, Rosario Pascuzzi creates lamps for interiors.In 1995, for the Fuori Salone del Mobile of Milan, presents for the first time his collection of lamps, than participates to various exhibitions.The ideas stem from experimentation and research of simple lines and forms Influenced by the 30’s and 40’s and traditional Japanese design. Lamps which evoke an intimate atmosphere and create a particular personality to the enviroment in which they are set.Collaborates with various design studios for textile design and graphic projects for prestigious brands.In 2003, starts with his project of hand-painted t-shirts.
