I have always been a guitar and voice kind of girl, however my musical journey has taken me into all aspects of music and in doing so , I have evolved into what I am today....... Brought up in Southgate, North London and born to Anglo- Indian Parents, I have been lucky enough to know two cultures and the most amazing food! After travelling extensively, I now find myself living between South Portugal and London. I won't bore you with the details, but will enlighten you with a brief summary of my musical experiences to date! The start ..... sessions - Paul Oakenfold followed by writing collabaration with Mr Rob Davis, which took me to Sony Records (higher ground) - Talvin Singh co writing and producing, I then met Andrew Hale (Sade) Sony Records (higher ground) release song Om album Eastern Uprising, which took me on a trip to meet Sony India! Rough Trade Toshi Nakanishi (Skylab) co write and vocals Song -- Clear Blue Sky (white label) Co write and vocals on Skylab Album Drum FM (Mark Gilmore and Possee!) Live performances Southbank, Brixton and the Astoria along with Earthtribe. Paul 'Groucho" Smykle (Palm pictures) vocals and co write song --HarmonicCollapse Album --- Assymetric Dub Jon Klien (Banshees) producer, write and sing my own songs. The Players: Jon Klien: Guitar, Tony Gad (Aswad): Bass, LeoT :Bass, Justina Curtis (Goldie): Keys, Mark Gilmore (Drum Fm): Drums, Steve B (Love Happy): Guitar, Mee: Violin. Move to Portugal Time Out!! Joined guitar school and started to write my own songs, met Ze Francisco and Paulo Machado of Marenostrum,started to record songs then put the band together and started to play live, our new edition Joao francisco de Jesus! Drums and Percussion. The music is very much a hybrid of all the things I have learnt and love but with bossa and brazillian influences. At the moment we are putting together live versions of the songs as we have realized that through playing this summer they have taken on a very different feel! Check it out!!
