....Enamorar Spanish reggae artists have long been a constant in Central America and the Caribbean, from the influence of legends like Bob Marley to Dancehall artists Like Shabba Ranks. Eddy Ranks born Edward Gutierrez in Roatan Bay Islands of Honduras is a Singer and songwriter. Eddy Ranks is famous for his ability to create lyrics that embody words that can make people cry, laugh, dance, or to sing along. All through infancy, music has always been a huge passion of his, the only true source of personal entertainment. Now, his passion has bloomed into a culture that he lives and breathes. In his primary school days, he participated in various school plays and talent shows, which afforded him the opportunity to advocate and discover his skills. In the year 2003, he migrated to the United States where he worked with various producers who helped develop and cultivate his artistic skills. Since then he has been in many productions such as: Honduras connection volume 2&3 by, El Negro Pop; Gary Crew, by Rica man; Mission 3, by Planamu sound; The Big-inning, by Mike Kadilac and last but not least, Pan caliente by Ovatyme. His major influences are Shabba Ranks, Aldo Ranks, El Roockie, Michael Jackson, Jah cure, Ja Rule, Beres Hammond, Camilo Sexto, Jose Luis Perales, Buju Banton, and Kafu Banton. At twenty-one, he has performed all over the country, places such as; New Orleans, the Bronx, Boston, Queens, Manhattan and so on. He was awarded with a single and greatest honor of working alongside Aldo Ranks, Tres Coronas, and Kafu Banton all of whom he idolizes. He is not afraid to incorporate other genres of music into his if and when the needed be.
