Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Coffee time - Image Hosting Jenny:Lead vocals, has had over 20 years in the music industry and has supported acts such as Chisel, Split Enz, Midnight Oil, Rene Geyer & pretty much all major Australian acts during the 80's. Jenny just loves to perform which most definately shows at the gigs. Tony: Lead vocals - Guitar - Has worked in bands and as a solo artist performing pub rock, top 40 & country rock since the early 80's, & does a mean Jimmy Barnes!! She Said ... are a pub/ top 40 cover band performing songs from 70's through to the 90's & and are always looking for private parts gigs as well as pub venues. The Hillbilly Dix Tony Reynold’s originally formed the band in early 2004 and from the outset they became popular with punters with their versions of rock, country & blues covers. After several lineup changes, the formula was found with experienced musicians who have the passion to play rock, country & blues. The band has performed at various venues including the Caboolture RSL, Arana Leagues Club and the Brisbane Ekka. They have been approached annually to play at various Rodeos & Music Festival bashes. The Hillbilly Dix have now decided to start gigging more regularly and play at a venue near you. BIOGRAPHIES: TONY REYNOLDS: Tony has worked in various bands and as a solo artist since the early 80’s. Having played pub rock, top 40, country and hard rock, his love of performing and delivering honest heartfelt vocals makes him a versatile front man. JENNY DWYER: Jenny has supported every major Australian act from 1979 till the late 80’s working the Gold Coast and South Eastern Queensland circuit with the top-ranked cover band “Kool Change”. She was also one of the founding members of the original “Smokin’ Crawdads”. Her powerful, blues-drenched vocals makes her a class act and a highly sought after vocalist. RANDAL TERRENS: Randal’s musicianship is well known around Victoria and Queensland. He was the keyboard player for the popular John Mellencamp tribute band “Scarecrow” for 9 years and since returning to Brisbane, Randal has worked with the “Smokin’ Crawdads”, Normie Rowe, Travis Collins, Cat Southern and Luella Widt. Randal is also a strong acoustic rhythm player and harmony singer, he brings a great deal to the band. BEN MORINE: Ben cut his teeth on country music and hard rock and is gaining a reputation as a real player to watch. His mastery of the guitar and tight harmonies add something special to the line up. He is continually in demand for live gigs and studio work. REX HARRIS: Rex is one of the best known bass players in Queensland for session and live work. He has toured locally and internationally with various prominent acts over the years. His playing and resonant bass vocals brings a new dimension to the group’s harmonies. TERRY BUTLER: Terry is an experienced drummer, whose CV includes playing for nearly every major Australian artist to tour this country. He has recently been busy working as a session player and he is looking forward to getting into more live work. Terry has covered a lot of styles as well as a lot of country. The band is looking forward to him being the engine room. ADAM HARRIS: Adam is one of the best sound engineers you’ll hear around the traps. He is usually on tour with the likes of The Legendary Platters, The Drifters, Buddy Holly Tribute Show, Dennis Knight, Col Elliot or providing sound at festivals, so it’s great to have him on board. |
