| In late 2007 Matt decided to pick up the trusty old battle axe again after a 5 year hiatus. This quickly sparked up his passion for playing guitar & music. Playing around with his own ideas instead of falling back into the routine of learning other bands songs, he started to put his ideas down on his pc. This soon became a weekend ritual, recording a new track every sunday afternoon. Matt then decided to upload his tracks on myspace one by one to see what reaction he would get from the outside world.
Now mid 2008, Matt Gray is back doing what the recording artist does best, brutal metal! Having racked up over 11,000 song plays on myspace with his collection of random jams that were uploaded for fun, the public has asked for more. Now available are a selection of tracks that have had more time & effort put into them then the previous. There is more song structure with the added bonus of vocals & guitar solos. These new catchy riffs are jammed packed with groove, technique & brutal heaviness. The drumming is a full metal onslaught. The vocals are rough & raw & the lyrics are borderline on being classed as death metal. Listeners will hear all of Matt's influences along with his own unique style.
