Machine Gun Kelly is a six piece Indie band based in Ebbw Vale, South Wales and was formed by David Bull and Ricci Coughlin in 2002. Founding members David Bull (Vocals) and Ricci Coughlin (Guitars) recently cemented the line up with the addition of Alun Tomos (Guitars), Sean Mitchell (Bass), and Ross – Chizzy – Chislett (Drums) and expect to be shaking up the live music scene in Wales as soon as possible, hopefully to an increasing and devoted fan base. Influenced by the quintessentially English song writing styles of The Beatles, The Kinks and The Jam - together with the 90's revival guitar led sound of The Stone Roses, The La's, and Oasis - they transmit an infectious enthusiasm that makes them almost impossible to dislike. Within their music you will undoubtedly discover a flurry of hooks, accompanied by the feeling of familiarity with the melody and lyrics. They have been working almost full time on producing these tracks – most of which were recorded using a home computer – to demonstrate their song writing capabilities to a larger audience. They will be going in to the studio to record a seven track E.P within the next few months and it will be on here as soon as it is finished.
