| Nuovissima band formata da noti musicisti dell'ambiente rockabilly italiano, Wells Fargo & the Nightingale finalmente porta in scena un sound che da queste parti non si era ancora sentito.
Il quartetto propone brani della tradizione country-bluegrass degli anni '40 e '50 filtrati dalla solita carica di impronta rockabilly, in più presenta diversi brani inediti scritti parole e musica da Antonella Tambakiotis (voce solista) e Wainer Rimondini (contrabbasso e voce) tutti ispirati alle più ruspanti sonorità Western!
Antonella (the Nightingale!) e Wainer arrivano dalla rockabilly band T-Model Boogie con all'attivo due registrazioni e quattro anni di numerosi live sulla scena italiana. Mauro aka Jim Singer milita come voce e chitarra solista nell'ottima r'n'r band P-51 Airplanes e nei nuovi panni di mr.Wells si cimenta soprattutto col banjo che caratterizza fortemente il sound di Wells Fargo. Last but not least il nostro nuovo acquisto Andy Big Boy Wells Damiano mai prima d'ora sullo schermo alla ritmica e voce!
Il sound assolutamente vintage è marcato dalla voce solista femminile con frequenti interventi corali in bluegrass style, banjo, contrabbasso, chitarra ritmica e washboard. L'assenza della batteria valorizza le sonorità western che si arricchiscono in melodia e velocità!

The quartet presents a choice of traditional 40's and 50's country-bluegrass tracks, filtered by their own rockabilly style, plus some new western songs, lyrics and music personally written by Antonella Tambakiotis (lead vocals) and Wainer Rimondini (double bass and voice). Antonella (the Nightingale) and Wainer (Fargo) come from the rockabilly band T-Model Boogie (two LPs and four years of giggin' around). Mauro (Wells) aka Jim Singer is currently playing guitar in the good rock'n'roll band P-51 Airplanes, but as Mr. Wells becomes the lead banjoman ,and strongly characterizes with his touch and voice the Wells Fargo hillybilly sound. Last but not least our brand new rhythm guitar and vioce (first time on stage!) Andy Big Boy Wells Damiano.The female leading voice plus the bluegrass style choruses, banjo, double bass, rhythm guitar and washboard , fix the personal Wells Fargo & the Nightingale vintage combo. The missing drums enphasize the old west atmosphere and enrich the tracks in speed and melody......So don't miss the ultimate boppin' western frontier sound! |
