| Vindens Skalder ist eine Viking Metal Band aus München, gegründet im Frühjahr 2007 aus den Überbleibseln der gerade aufgelösten Blood Legion und einem blondgelockten Drummer aus dem Raum Ebersberg. Inzwischen steht das Line up folgendermaßen:Errol - Drums Rici - Keyboard Ben - Bass Bernhard - Lead Guitar Much - Frontschwein/Rythm GuitarDer Bandname "Vindens Skalder" bedeutet übersetzt "Des Windes Skalden" oder schlicht "Windsänger", was auch ganz gut den lyrischen Geist der Band beschreibt, der sich allgemein mit Sagen aus der germanischen Mythologie und ihren Werten, aber auch mit Natur und Lebenseindrücken befasst. Stilistisch ist es schwierig, den Sound eindeutig einem Stil unterzuordnen, da wir verschiedene Songwriter mit unsterschiedlichen Charaktern und Ideen haben, also schaut ihr am besten mal auf einem live-Schlachtzug vorbei und lasst euch den Sound zu meinungsbildenden Zwecken mal frisch von der Bühne in die Fresse treten! Ach ja: Natürlich distanzieren wir uns als Band von jeder Art von rassistischem, antisemitischen, rechtsradikalem, sexistischen und fastfoodverherrlichendem Gedankengut!
