About Me
gangsta entered this world on august 9th, 1977 via st.mary hospital in brooklyn new york. ( so ask mi bout brooklyn, ask mi bout jamaica) morgan heritage/shaggy's song! anyway, my father neva really like dis country, once i received all of my new born baby testing and routine check ups, i was sent to edgewater,portmore st.catherine (jamaica)dat a wen portmore did small, now its the 3rd city in jamaica! i returned to the u.s in 1982, and i had to attend a local daycare center at 5 years old to catch back the english language, before i could attend a brooklyn public school, i later attended boys&girls highschool in bedstuy brooklyn, and 2 years of bmcc in manhattan.i've always been exposed to reggae music, i come from an era where wi collect soundsytem tapes like baseball cards, but at the age of 16 i met a yute name flex from cue assassin soundsystem an wi start roll out like gangsta pon dem! every weekend wi locked the restaurant in rosedale, big up derrick, joy and di family! it was there that i also met a selecta name fats from charles in charge that really showed mi how selecta suppose to talk pon mic! i went on to roll wid mad ras from poison dart, wen wi were king asha, dat a wen selecta use to deejay pon di sound fi entertain di people dem also! at 17 i met a yute name skeino dread, his father owned a sound name kojak, from waterhouse, jamaica, wen he passed away skeino tek up di sound an waterhouse people seh fi call it NIGHTSTAKA, wen i join di sound i add SUPREME to di name(NIGHTSTAKA SUPREME) because every sound had international,4x4,or hi-fi at the end of their name! one a wi brethren weh name scatta, brought us to junior's place on linden, every weekend bare rasta an elder dung deh a jam, eventually wi became regulars along with sharky from super force, killa bo from magnum force (now with king agony/addies), baby tech, juvenile and other queens soundsytems! as time progressed, my girlfriend at the time marva lynn taylor(destiny) introduced us to flexxx & bogle from stereo king, they brought us to elite nightclub(queens version of starlite or biltmore)wi also became regulars there, wi even had our first big clash there against black emperor, big up fedda an pecherie! in order to clash you must have dubplate recordings of a variety of artiste, we frequented symbols studio, don one studio, jammy's, arrows to record a world a dubplates, thats wen i realize my calling, it would take forever to name all the names but i enjoy working with artiste before they buss like: yankee b, askel,energizer,devon clarke, razah who's now a big rnb singer, marlon stewart, terenchila(mad ras), apache&bela, many more, tekky telly,a younger elepant man back then,boom dandimite,nitty kutchie,bucaneer,red rat,etc! i'm currently evolving into a manager, working with young talent is natural to mi, big up bramma,hollow point, shugga cherm,blingazzz,v-roy, fa'real, shanx di bk rapper, these artiste are coming, i'm glad i know them now, i don't have to worry about later! »-(¯`v´¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯`v´¯)-«
