| Anna Iachino, a metal Rat & Arnold Ludvig, an earth Monkey in the Chinese astrology, are an auspicious Musical combination.Anna is an Italian/Canadian, born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from southern Italian parents born and raised in Reggio di Calabria, Italy.Ludvig, a Faroese was born in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 62 degrees north of nowhere, between Iceland and Norway.... ...HISTORY... ...Anna was a closet poet for 30 years. Virtuoso bass player, Ludvig started playing before live audiences at the age of 12.In 2006, Anna was propelled onto the stage at the Asfalt Festival and performed her brand of Poetry Slam with the artistic direction and fat bass lines of Arnold Ludvig.How did they meet? Says Anna, "Blame it on falling in love at Café Sarajevo, Montreal's coziest café at the time".Ludvig was the first Faroese musician to live and play in the Montreal music scene. Anna's, A&A Productions Booking Agency was born from the love and devotion she felt for Ludvig and his immense talent.Between 1999 and 2003, one of Ludvig's main projects in Montreal was with Geraldine Hunt and The Arnold Ludvig Trio, regular performing artists at Biddle's Jazz, Montreal's oldest and most famous jazz club.In 2002, one of Anna's proudest moments, was when she booked Geraldine Hunt and The Arnold Ludvig Trio at The Montreal International Jazz Festival.In 2003, Anna & Ludvig decided to cross the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to the Faroe Islands. The Faroes embraced Arnold Ludvig warmly with "The Best Bass Player" Award and "The Best Band" Award with GoGo Blues at the 2005 AME Atlantic Music Event. That same year, Anna, their manager had the pleasure of booking GoGo Blues a Canadian and Scandinavian Tour.In 2006, Anna's radio show, "Soul Nation" first aired on Kringvarp Føroya www.uf.fo the station where you can hear Old School & New School Funk/R&B/Soul/HipHop/Rap/Blues/Reggae as well as artist interviews.Says Anna, "After much success with representing artists and bands, the time had come for my soul to speak out and share my thoughts and feelings to the world about the tremendous inspiration that I experienced during my darkest moments in the Faroe Islands.
