.. biography: "Don’t work, I can not," don’t exist for Jodyz, alias Jördis. The native of Potsdam knows exactly what she wants. If she makes something, she pursued her goals with one hundred and ten percent. From setbacks she learns that she will certainly go her way with curiosity and ambition. So she masters seemingly effortless "up and down's” her life. Jodyz ambitions to music began in the early age. Before Jodyz take the first vocal experiences, she studied to playing saxophone. Her mentor Ralf Benschu (Group Keimzeit/germany) taught her a sense for rhythm dynamic. Certainly a good foundation for all that is yet. After years of reading notes she discovered a passion for singing. With sweet age of 16, she had first acts on concerts and party’s, and of course her first studio experience. At that time she produced in the Protect studios in Potsdam. In addition to several trance projects, she founded her first band and she got many experience for the future for her voice. For her further musical career, the very best what could had happened for Jodyz. In a one-year studio pause, Jodyz took intensive singing lessons and wrote her first own songs. Her constant goal isn’t to stand still. 2005 Jodyz get contacts to 4sale recordings. There, she worked on various electronic sounds with Heiko Kunz. There she collects more experience in songwriting and invented the music new for herself. Because of the cooperation with 4sale-recordings she met many interesting people and the actual electric scene. Despite the love to electronic music, Jodyz went up always on the stage with her live band. Since 2006, she is part of the band Linck (www.linck-live.de) (known as support act for Gianna Nannini or Silbermond) and Pulse (www.pulse-web.de) as a background singer. Currently Jodyz moves more in the electronic scene. In the last part of 2007, she performed in Clubs like Centrum (Berlin) and Tresor (Berlin). Along with the guys from Electrixx, Jodyz was on the front cover of Partysan Magazin in December 2007 including a 2 sites interview. Reason for that was the cooperation with Electrixx. Since 2007 Electrixx is featuring Jodyz, and the first release “Clear my Head” succeed worldwide after 2 weeks of releasing. One Step more for her to grow up in that scene, so nowadays she spends her voice for projects like Cherry (Poland), Microdizko (Germany) (release: Pinkdizko) and much more successful Electronic Music Projects. Of course the future is unwritten, but Jodyz will be there, for sure! Be surprised for next strike “we are suicide robots” presented by Electrixx & Jodyz.
