| I Christopher Walken sono il risultato di un’attività musicale che si è protratta per diversi anni nel capoluogo ligure, nei quali la formazione della band è andata mutando intorno alle figure di Davide (voce) e Giuseppe (batteria). L’assetto definitivo si è avuto con l’ingresso, nel 2005, di Federico, bassista (ex Percent90, dal settembre 2006 anche nei Temple of deimos) che si è aggiunto al trio formatosi nel 2003 tra i due “pilastri” della band e Mathias (chitarra, già nei SoundCo). La produzione del gruppo ha subito da quel momento un decisivo cambio di passo, le varie influenze e precedenti esperienze musicali dei singoli componenti sono andate fondendosi in un sound totalmente nuovo rispetto al passato, tanto che la band ha abbandonato il precedente nome (Pequena) per scegliere quello attuale.
Il gruppo ha al suo attivo una serie di esibizioni live nei locali genovesi e la registrazione di un EP, effettuata nell' aprile 2007 presso il GREENFOG STUDIO, di cui è prevista l’imminente uscita e si sta preparando per concerti e per nuovo materiale da proporre in futuro.. ............................ROCK'N'ROLL MY FRIEND.............................Christopher Walken is the result of a music activity developed in Genova in these years by the two main figures Davide (vocal) and Giuseppe (drums). The definitive set of the band, born in 2003, was reached with the entrance of the bass player Federico (ex Percent90, now playing with Temple of Deimos since september 2006) and the guitar player Mathias (ex SoundCo). Due to the fact that every single member brought their own experiences and influences a radically new sound was established and the name of the group changed from Pequena into the actual one.
The band has made a number of concerts in Genova..s locals and has recorded an EP in April 2007 by GREENFOG STUDIO that will be coming soon. Christopher Walken is now working on new stuff to propose to the audience..............................ROCK'N'ROLL MY FRIEND.............................
