| THIS IS THE OFFICIAL PAGE FOR THE CANADIAN CHAPTER OF THE PANDIT JASRAJ SCHOOL OF MUSIC. The Pandit Jasraj School of Music was incorporated as a charitable society in 1994, to recognize the great maestro's contribution & commitment to the classical music scene in Vancouver. School Objectives:* to deepen awareness of culture & heritage through music * to provide ongoing instruction to students at all levels * to present artistes of the highest caliber for workshops & seminars * to encourage youth to participate & learn music through a specially designed curriculum * to train music teachers * to provide a platform for upcoming artistes by hosting concerts * to work with mainstream arts organizations for greater exposure to classical music ************************************************************ ** UPCOMING CLASS INFO:Introductory and beginner classes commence on March 12, 2008 and continue every wednesday until June 11th.
