| Greetings fellow Safeway workers and friends. Welcome!!! Safeway Oakleigh is not just a supermarket situated in the geographical centre of the small south eastern suburb town of oakleigh... its a cultural melting pot welcoming all colours, creeds and nationalites (mainly greek). as a result, staff members are extensively trained and as a pre-requesit for employment they must be fluent in langauges varying from hindi, greek, italian and street lebonese.This particular safeway is also home to some of the most talked about destitutes around the oakleigh tri state area...ranging from the dreaded bag lady, forrest in the produce department, that wheeld chaired complaning indian lady and not to metion numerous drunks an junkies who have undoutably done time..if u dont know them...they sure as hell know who you are and where you live.Tune in for weekly updates concerning gossip, punchups and all things fresh from our lovely store..or feel free to pose questions or complaints about certain staff members. This great store is located at Station St Oakleigh Central. We love serving people, stacking shelves, helping customers and then give customers a smile. We dont like customer complaints, shop lifters and inspectors. We're open nearly all year exept for a few major public holidays.If you know anyone who i have missed who works or had worked here, please, feel free to tell them about this and add me.The staff are the best, we're just like a family and everyone is hardworking. Breaking news: Frank will no longer be working on saturdays as supervisor he beleives he has fulfilled his duties and cant offer anymore then wat he has, he is now after a new challenge. josie will take over and she also has a myspace so ppl jump on board and support her. Frank wld like to thank all his staff on da front end for their great effort everyweek, professionalism and great customer service.
