Music:Member Since: 5/24/2007Band Website: www.jamgrass.it Band Members: COUNTRY KITCHEN JAMGRASS BAND. This is a definite taste! At the second bit you find a delightful taste. If anyone is practical of gastronomy, they could individualize the various ingredients of it. The sound of the NCK is compact, sure, it bears from a mixture of aromas, results from more musical influences. Faithful to his origin of "country kitchen", they harmonize with the expanses of "bluegrass", and create new combinations of flavours.The quintet from which today is composed the NCK Jamgrass Band was constituted in the 1 981 borning from the Old Time String Band. During 25 years of activity the band, also maintaining the bond with the Bluegrass music, has analyzed the different kinds of music that have influenced bluegrass. From the study of Country, Blues, Jazz, NewAge, Rock, they had created an unmistakable sound. The repertoire of the band offers a miscellaneus kind of styles with proposals and original arrangements. With the maturity the NCK has maintained their younger spirit of unstoppable experimentation, getting an excellent agreement and refining their own technique. In over 25 years of activity, the NCK pride themselves a long curriculum. Very large are the partecipation to events, concerts and festivals also with foreign artists. Within the most important we remember the goal of being 2nd classified band at 27th Rockygrass Band Contest, the Byron Berline invitation at the OIBF in 1998 as international guests. Life goes on, after our great mandolin player since ever passed away on dec 30th 2004, now we re-estabilished the band switching our name from new country kitchen to COUNTRY KITCHEN REVIVAL, and preparing new recipes.......but that's a surprise you will see soon..... be in tune, stay in touch..
