| My name is Maryanne Oliver, I am a freelance artist/illustrator and designer living in Brisbane. For as long as I can remember I have found comfort in the form of expressing myself through my art and design. No matter what I am creating or designing, it is always a true reflection of who I am, the people I know and meet, and moments in my life ... .....uplifting and empowering and sometimes maybe a a little dark :o) ..... however all the same a small snippet reflecting a moment in this journey for me.The beauty of art is it allows the freedom of no restrictions, and gives people a view of something through another persons eyes. However like any creative venture it can be trying and a mission, to say the least. I have never been afraid to work hard for my art, and have always been happy to take this road the long way. By doing so, this has allowed me to appreciate each small step I take closer to my dream and my future.I am inspired every day by my surroundings.......the people around me..... the beauty of this wonderful life and of course our beautiful country.
