TYAD Pictures Film/Script Submissions The newest addition to the TMG family is TYAD Pictures ( TP ), the film division of the music group. TMG CEO Jerry Holden has for a long time felt for TMG to be recognized as a strong entertainment entity, motion pictures is an essential piece of the master puzzle. As with the presidents of his record labels, Holden has also personally handpicked entertainer Shea Chambers to head up TYAD Pictures, who in addition is the director of the board at TMG. The music industry stopped to take notice as Chambers was a featured vocalist on songs written by such artists as, Brenda Russell, Bryan Adams, and Barry White. Her performance on the title track, "Endless Love", written and produced by Lionel Ritchie, gave her national acclaim in the recording industry. She is no stranger to the small screen either. Chambers has appeared on numerous TV shows, including, The Arsenio Hall Show, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Showtime, Dharma & Greg, and 7th Heaven. Shea’s vision for TP is to have two strong production companies, so now she is bringing on board veteran actor and producer Jeff Osterhage to head up his production company, Solaritis Productions. Osterhage and Chambers have been friends since childhood growing up in Detroit. In the early 80’s Jeff convinced Shea to move to Los Angeles to further her career. Osterhage began appearing in television in the late seventies on such shows as, The Dukes of Hazzard and The Sacketts. Other films and television shows he appeared in includes “Taken by Force (2007)” (post-production), “Angie's Delight (2006)”, “Outlaws (1997)”, “Matlock”, “Dragnet" (1989) TV Series”, “The New Dragnet (USA)”, “Masque of the Red Death (1989)”, “Simon & Simon”, “Dark Before Dawn (1988)”, “South of Reno (1988)”, “Buckeye and Blue (1988)”, “Moonlighting”, “Blonde on Blonde (1987)”, “Sky Bandits (1986)”, “Crazy Like a Fox”, “Murder, She Wrote”, “Powder Keg (1986)”, “Funeral at Fifty-Mile (1985)”, “Scarecrow and Mrs. King”, “The Three Faces of Emily (1984)”, “Knight Rider”, “K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R. (1984)”, “Play It Again, Luke (1984)”, “The Shadow Riders (1982)”, “The Legend of the Golden Gun (1979)”, and “True Grit (1978)”. Jeff currently has two feature films that are slated for production later in 2008. Chambers is currently negotiating with a second production company to be a part of the TP family. The vision that Chambers, Osterhage, and Holden has for TP is number one to produce great films. And being that Holden is a fan of cartoons to this day, animation films are a must. Chambers and her Team will be looking to produce dramas, comedies, and action-thrillers, along with family films. TYAD Pictures promises to also be a vehicle for the promotion of artists’ music from the labels under TMG. So many great songs in recent history have been discovered through soundtracks in films, and TP aims to maintain that tradition.
