Duppy Conquerors Sound nasce dalla passione per la musica reggae di tre amici cresciuti nel litorale Romano. "Ufficialmente" i Conquerors si esibiscono per la prima volta nel 19 maggio 2005 in quel del cso La Torre nell'ambito della rassegna "Radio Torre"(What a big nite!). Di li a poco, i Conquerors cominciano ad organizzare le prime dancehall in collaborazione con il cs Ricomincio dal Faro, in cui, tra le varie, si è tenuto il "Pon di Version"(2k5), dancehall organizzata con vari dj's emergenti e non della capitale. Nel 2k6 insieme alle prime tune autoprodotte del singer Bibbo arrivano anche i primi Dub Plates(strictly fondation & dj style!)e un Sound System interamente autoprodotto da 4Kw(Expanding a gwaan). Suonando in quasi tutte le yard di Roma(csa La Strada, cso Sans Papier, Strike spa...), i Conquerors si fanno conoscere dalla massive romana e vengono apprezzati anche dai Veteran Sounds Romani, tanto che in occasione del warm up al "Dj's Xplosion" al cs Intifada, i veterani di Cool Runnings, organizzatori dell'evento, li presentano come il migliore tra i sound emergenti della capitale(inna style an fashion!). Dopo una pausa nell'estate, la stagione invernale 2k7 è ricominciata con una dancehall al Villaggio Globale in compagnia del Soul Roots Sound e di Mr Rudebeat ls MarioDread.
