| This mash-up consists of four rather different ingedients which, combined, create a pretty distinct flavour. Even though the line-up seems pretty standard (vocals, guitar, bass, drums), the result is definitely NOT. We're talking a mix of explosive rock with a pop topping. Apart from this distinctive sound, every song is different: from punk rock to a laid-back ballad, Mash Parade has something for everyone! Mash Parade was founded in October 2004 and consists of Jonne (vocals), Rick (guitar), Marjolein (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Marco (drums). In the summer of 2005, Mash Parade recorded its debute EP, 'First Parade', in the Orange But Blue studio in Sittard (NL). 'First Parade' was released by Mash Parade in November 2005. In November 2006, exactly one year later, Mash Parade released its second EP, titled: 'Not Like Us'. In December 2006, Jonne had to leave the band due to health issues. In January 2007, Lauren joined the band. The band always manages to create a pleasant atmosphere, be it in a regular or rock café, or at a festival. Let Mash Parade surprise you! |
