Born and raised in the drug desecrated slums of Southwest Atlanta, (2748 Bankhead Hwy. to be exact) and educated on the other side of the tracks in top ranked schools of academic excellence, his music reflects the sharp contrast of two extremely different lifestyles. Blending southern rhythms, with his unique style, and conscientious lyrics to create a sound of his own, Riyad cannot be characterized by one song or style.
