This page (formerly the Help Kaleb Page) began when a group of people were touched by a Florida family and the needs they faced due to the horrendous tragedy they endured (see Kaleb’s story ). We set up this page to offer prayerful and financial support to the family. In seeing the tremendous outpouring of encouragement, donations, and prayers the family received- we could not help but to extend the same type of help and hope to others.
We will feature a family in need every two to three months. Our goal is to offer hope and support to families and individuals in need, in hopes of changing the world around us- one family at a time.
Please continue to partner with us as we “spread the word” through bulletins, chat rooms, and whatever means possible to raise awareness of each family’s needs. The more people who are aware of a family’s need- the more people who have the opportunity to help. PLEASE help us help more families! One person CAN make a difference, and together we can change lives and offer hope!
This page is a result of someone wanting to help her friend. She forwarded her friend’s story to all of her MySpace friends. Just like so many of you forwarded the story to your friends. One person sent this bulletin to someone who never even knew the family in need. That one person decided to take it a step further and start this page. Then as it grew, more people joined in, and together we are ALL making a difference!
If you would like to send your sentiments to the families we feature, please post a comment, it will be easier for the family to view it than emails.
We will also be accepting donations for the Hope And Support Page. Although MySpace is FREE, we have been incurring costs due to the growing size of this website. In the past, we have absorbed the costs from our own resources. PLEASE UNDERSTAND: It is our FULL desire that as much profit will go towards these families as possible, so any UNUSED funds will go toward the featured families and/or the Kaleb Schwade Foundation (the foundation set up in honor of Kaleb). We will also be posting a list of our current needs (envelopes, packing materials, file folders, etc.), so that those who are unable to give financially may also have an opportunity to aid us in helping more families/individuals in need.
