L’auteur-interprète Alfro, plus connu sous le nom d’Alfro Killa, fait ses premiers pas devant le mic’ en 1999, poussé par son cousin Sakaï, Zala, et son frère Kedwee Marakujah... Voilà qu’il va être traîné par ses acolytes dans les sounds système et session radio (FM+)sur la ville de Montpellier. De là va naître un artiste aux inspirations dancehall et roots, du raggea dans un registre Hip-Hop. Plus sérieusement et déterminé à faire parler de lui, de 2001 à 2003, il va enchaîner les collaborations sur différentes compiles (Boxing flow, Montpellier all stars, Chargeur plein, 357, Jah fire anthem...) pour conclure sur un maxi 10 titre "La vie est raide" sous la tutelle du label Jah Fire. Depuis ces années là et jusqu’à aujourd’hui, il ne cesse d’élargir son univers musical, tant bien que mal dans le milieu underground passant du dancehall, new roots,hip hop, soul..., à travers son crew "Soldjah-Vibes" monté entre temps ainsi qu’en solo. |
