| Marco nasce a Firenze il 15 settembre 1987. Subito piccolissimo, grazie anche alle influenze del padre batterista e amante della musica, inizia all’età di tre anni a battere le prime sbacchettate ovunque gli capiti. Nel periodo delle scuole elementari inizia ad allenarsi e ad ascoltare svariati gruppi rock (The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Genesis, ecc...); in questo periodo prova anche ad intraprendere lo studio della chitarra, ma la cosa non ottiene molto successo e torna subito ai suoi amati tamburi. Nel periodo delle medie inizia ad andare a lezione in una scuola di musica dove rimane per quattro anni, imparando dal suo primo maestro Lorenzo Cifariello. Dopo questo periodo conosce un gruppo che segnerà molto il suo modo di suonare: i Dream Theater. Uscito dalla scuola di musica frequenta un corso di solfeggio e ascolta tanti batteristi e generi diversi. Inizia in questo periodo a suonare in varie band fino conoscere nel 2004 Paolo, chitarrista con il quale fa parte del gruppo Nympha con il quale rimane insieme per poco più di un anno. Nel maggio 2005 viene contattato dai What Remains, con i quali incide la sua prima demo "Wish of Freedom". Attualmente Marco segue i corsi di Agostino Marangolo e Johnny Fiorillo al Freestroke di Firenze, studia inoltre jazz con Piero Borri. E’ docente nella scuola di musica San Giuseppe del corso di batteria. Verso metà giugno 2007 è entrato a far parte della band The Vickers con la quale registra subito un demo; inoltre sta collaborando con altri gruppi jazz e pop.
