Heroes:Die Hitler- Attentäter (sein Leben zu opfern mit der Abischt, die Welt von einem Tyrannen befreien zu wollen, halte ich für die grösste Ehre). Bono und Bob Geldof, weil sie nicht nur tolle Musiker, sondern auch echte Menschfreunde sind und viel Gutes bewirken. Die beiden sollten endlich den Friedensnobelpreis bekommen. Der Dalai Lama. Ghandi. Charlie Chaplin, weil dieser kleine Mann die Welt revolutioniert hat. Sir Simon Rattle und Royston Maldoom, weil sie mit Projekten wie "Rhythm is it!" junge Menschen von der Strasse auf die Bühne holen und ihnen wieder Würde verleihen. Papst Johannes Paul II. Gorbatschow und die Menschen im Osten Deutschlands, weil ihr friedlicher Widerstand Mauern eingerissen und das Gesicht der Welt verändert hat, (vielleicht sollten wir uns daran wieder erinnern, bevor wir das nächste Mal schreien, wir wollen die Mauer zurück!). Alle, die sich für den Dienst am Menschen, den Tieren und der Natur einsetzen und Frieden schaffen auf dieser Welt.English:The Hitler- assassins. I think there is no bigger honour than trying to free the world from a tyrant and giving your life for this aim, even though they failed. We should never forget their glorious act.Bono and Bob Geldof, because they are not only great musicians but also very philanthropists who are using their popularity to make this world a better place. They would really deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. I met Bono some years ago and have to say that he was one of the most kindest and polite people I ever met. Very impressive person.The Dalai Lama. With projects like “Rhythm is it!” they give youngsters the opportunity to leave the streets and step on stage. They give those kids their dignity back and make them feel special. Is there any better thing to do?Pope John Paul II., Michail Gorbatschow and the people in east Germany (ex GDR). Their peaceful resistance torn down walls and changed the face of the world. Maybe we germans should think about this first, before we scream “we want the wall back!” again.All people, men and women, who are fighting for peace, justice and equality, wether it is for mankind, animals or for the protection of nature. They all deserve my deepest respect. |
