WHO ARE WE? dé·jà vu: "The illusion of having previously experienced something actually being encountered for the first time"...that about sums it up, and it's a perfect description of Philly's new rock cover band DeJaVu! Born in the summer of 2007, DeJaVu came storming onto the Philly regional music scene and in just a few short months had already established themselves as a premier act. Recently, due to circumstances beyond our control, the band had to take a brief hiatus. A few months later and a couple new members... WE ARE BACK!...JANUARY 2009 Joining us this time around will be... DIANA GIBBONS... formerly the lead singer of Ember(now DANGER MOUSE). Packed with powerful vocals and lots of energy, she puts on one helluva show!! JACK STRONG... formerly of 52 Pickup. For those of you who have seen Jack with 52, you know what to expect and what he brings to DeJaVu! FANS! FANS! FANS!.... The amount of you who have stuck with us, through our recent hard times and are STILL there for us and eager to see us, is absolutely overwhelming!!! To show our gratitude, we have brought in a lot of new material and some new styles, to give you even more of what you asked for and an even better show, hopefully!..haha We will still be playing a wide variety of all your favorite standards, that you already like to hear. We thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you in JANUARY 2009!
