| Founded in 2006; Yakuza Recordings has established a solid role among house culture all over the world. The two successful DJs and producers behind the label, Soydan Tuc and Murad L, took the label to the top with mass releases of fresh sounds.Born in Seattle, Washington, but raised in Istanbul, Turkey; Murad L began his musical journey DJ-ing in Istanbul’s thriving underground house scene. His DJ sets range from Deep, Tech, Disco, Jazz and Funk; and over the years he has performed for the House community across mainland Europe and the US. After moving back to US, Murad became one of the most versatile producers in the scene; claiming respect from DJs all over the country and rest of the world. He has had productions for labels such as, Casa Del Soul, Greenhouse, Odds & Ends, Guess and compilation albums for clubs such as Cielo NY and La Playa Ibiza with Cem Sarikelleoglu under the guise of “The Craftsmen“.Murad L has now teamed up with another fellow countryman in the form of Soydan. Hailing from Turkey via Waterford, Ireland; Soydan burst onto the house scene last year when he launched the fresh & funky house label ‘Yakuza Recordings’, and as they say the rest is history. Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Miguel Migs and DJ Sneak have all fallen in love with Yakuza and hence the worldwide playtime received by each EP. Mark Farina has also added Soydan to his list of house producers showing their production skills on his ‘House of Om’ albums. Soydan has been busy DJ-ing across Europe during the past year and is a regular visitor back to his homeland Turkey.Expect to hear some fantastic house productions from both of these really talented guys over the coming year and also other releases from the worlds top house producers.
