For as long as I can remember, I've always loved the feeling of low frequencies hitting me square in the middle of my chest. When I was just 4 years old, I thought I'd reached nirvana when I discovered the bass control knob on my parents old hi-fi system. When I turned this knob up and hugged the speaker, I felt the vibrations pulse through my body and was instantly and forever a changed person! From then on, all I wanted to do was play the bass. At the age of 15, when I got my first pay cheque from my very first job, I immediately went to the local music store and bought my first electric bass and amp. (The total for both only came to $60..hahaha.) Within a week, I was already working with 2 bands and since then, I haven't looked back. I've become an accomplished electric fretted and fretless bassist, double bassist and keyboardist and have worked and toured live and worked as a recording session player with many great artists including (alphabetically): Andy Summers (Police), Billy Sheets' Undercover, producer Dave Ogilvie (Nine Inch Nails), drummer Dave Ruffy (Sinead O'Connor), David Gogo, dbClifford, drummer Denton Whited (Philosopher Kings), Depeche Mode, members of DEVO, Doug Cox, Elvira Aos, producer Jakob Magnusson, producer Joby Baker, Kia Kadiri, Kuba, Lester Quitsau, Lindy, Lowen & Navarro, Mae Moore, Marc Almond (Soft Cell), Michael Jackson, producer Mick Glossop, drummer Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix), singer Neal Osborne (54-40), guitarist Neal X (Sigue Sigue Sputnik), slide guitarist Rachelle Van Zanten, 1 percussionist Richie Gajate Garcia, guitarist Rick Boston, Rickie Lee Jones, drummer Ritchie Hayward (Little Feat), drummer Roger Taylor (Duran Duran), Sass Jordan, Taj Mahal, producer Tchad Blake, guitarist Todd Butler, Velvet, Wheeze and many others. I'm honored to be currently performing live with SONY/BMG jazz-soul-pop artist, dbClifford.
