OFFICIAL MAIL: info@maelstromland.it Il progetto Maelstrom nasce nell' autunno 2002, da Fabrizio Bisignano (bassista) come tributo agli Iron Maiden. Dopo una serie di date in locali liguri con un discreto successo, il progetto svolta verso la composizione di brani originali. Passa il tempo e dopo susseguirsi di avvicendamenti e cambi di line-up, la band si afferma con la seguente formazione oggi attiva: Roberto - Voci Fabrizio - Basso Mauro - Chitarre Vittorio - Batterie Michele - TastiereLa band presenta oggi il primissimo lavoro in Studio: “Immortal Fairytales” datato 2007. L’ Album si evolve in 12 traccie il cui stile musicale è classificabile nel Melodic Power Metal, il tutto arricchito con momenti di atmosfera alternati ad altri più progressivi. Cantati esclusivamente in lingua inglese, i testi dei brani hanno fra loro un filo conduttore, e descrivono il percorso-vita di un personaggio e di tutte le “esperienze’’ che affronta nel suo viaggio. Contemporaneamente al lavoro in Studio, la band è impegnata nella preparazione delle esibizioni "live" e nelle riprese di un Videoclip per la promozione dell' album stesso.
