| A B O U T J I M B O . J U X N A M E : JAMIE " JIMBO. JUX " WITHERINGTON Woss goin on and welcome to my myspace. I’m Jamie aka Jimbo. Jux, a Producer from North East London. The setup I use 2 make beats is a P.C, an Evolution MK keyboard, Logitech Sub and Speakers, Fruity Loops 5 Edition and Sound Forge 7. I primarily make hip hop style beats as that is where my skill lies, but i am open to new ideas and genres. I am in the lab making beats whenever possible, and when i have time, so don’t go by my myspace beats as i have a library full of them that i’m continuously building up. I am also networking here in th UK and overseas in the US and broadening my knowledge on the music industry via myspace. The qualifications in music which i have acheived from college are a 1st Diploma Lv2. and a Nat. Cert. Lv3. in Performing Arts Music Technology which covered production, sound creation and manipulation, basic DJing skills, music industry, theory, mixing, recording, mic techniques, live music and musical history and its origins and so on. My influences are basically from everything I have been listening to since a child ranging from modern & old school Hip Hop (commercial and underground) , 50s 60s and 70s Soul ! (Best Music that exists) ! , RnB, Slow Jams (new school and old school), Classical, Reggae & Gospel. 80s Pop/Disco/Rock also influences me. Tunes from the 90’s that i just can’t categorise? Music from computer games and films also influences me and I have got a passion for oriental sounds. If you Love ""Soul"" or ""Reggae"" Music, me and you will get along..... maybe? I basically listen to hip hop, soul, reggae, gospel, revolutionary music, jazz, swing, country, soca, rock, blues, grime, garage, funky house, RnB, classical, pop, ethnic, film music, all kinds of shit basically.
