Ciao a tutti. Siamo i Morning Star, Tribute Band Italiana dei Blackmore’s Night. Siamo musicisti provenienti da diverse esperienze musicali e a tutt’oggi rappresentiamo l’unico gruppo italiano che propone un repertorio unicamente basato sui brani del grande Ritchie Blackmore e della divina vocalist Candice Night. La prima formazione, fondata dal nostro chitarrista Marco Carpita e conosciuta negli ambienti della cultura romana con il nome di Sacred Fire, fin dal 2003 proponeva i capolavori dei Blackmore’s Night nello scenario unico dei palazzi storici di Roma raccogliendo numerosi consensi. Dopo circa un anno, la svolta decisiva. Al bassista Mauro Truglio, la vocalist Lorena Gasperoni e il tastierista Bruno Gallozzi, si aggiungevano l’ottimo drummer Marco Armari, la vocalist Emanuela Acquaviva e la chitarrista-vocalist Roberta Diamanti, accrescendo ulteriormente la qualità della band originale ed aprendo la via a nuove possibilità espressive. Si è creata così un’interessante combinazione fra la lunga esperienza maturata in ambito “blackmoriano” di Marco Carpita e Marco Armari, due vecchie conoscenze degli ambienti Hard Rock romani e l’apporto dei diversi stili musicali offerti dai restanti membri della band. Così, abbiamo deciso di ampliare il nostro pubblico, uscendo da quelli che fino ad ora sono stati i nostri confini abituali e sentiamo che è giunto il momento di farci conoscere da tutti i fans dei Blackmore’s Night e da tutti coloro che amano la musica tradizionale per condividere con voi questa bellissima esperienza e per crescere con il vostro aiuto. Seguiteci. Warm greetings to all. We are the Morning Star Band, the Italian Tribute Band to Blackmore’s Night. Our band members are musicians from diversified cultural and musical backgrounds. We are currently the only Italian band playing a set-list based solely on Ritchie Blackmore’s music and Candice Night’s exceptional vocal repertoire. The band, started up by Marco Carpita – our founder and guitarist - under the name “Sacred Fire” in 2003, performed Blackmore’s Night’s best hits in several concerts held in historical Rome buildings. Through these performances, Sacred Fire became a well known band on the Rome musical scene. A year later, the band made a further breakthrough. To the current band members – Marco Carpita (guitarist), Mauro Truglio (bass), Bruno Gallozzi (piano and synthesizer), Lorena Gasperoni (vocalist) - the following musicians joined our line up: Marco Armari (drummer), Roberta Diamanti (guitarist-vocalist) and Emanuela Acquaviva (vocalist), thus enriching the quality of the band and allowing for new venues in musical expression. The “Blackmorian” experience and the extensive musical skill of Marco Carpita and Marco Armari in Rome based hard rock bands as well as the diverse musical styles of the other band members uniquely and harmoniously fused to form what is today Morning Star’s signature music. It is our wish to make ourselves know more personally to our growing public, to Blackmore’s Night fans and to all those individuals that appreciate and cherish traditional music. It is also our fervent desire to share with you, our growth in this amazing and magical musical experience. Follow us!
