Milcho Leviev” - Jazz compositions, arrangements and improvisations -2005 Master Class at the State Academy of Music “Pancho Vladigerov” – “prof. Simeon Shterev” – Jazz improvisations.AWARDS- Won 1st prize at the competition “Pop Rock Fest”-Skopie 1996, R.Macedonia. - Won diploma for best jazz composition “My Sweet Flame” in Sofia 2002. - 2004/2005 won grant from Open Society Institute Zug Foundation (OSI-ZUG), Switzerland.POPOVSKI TASEVSKI QuartetIs jazz band that gathers four different professional musicians, Saso Popovski – guitar, Stefan Tasevski – saxophones and clarinet, Goran Dimitrovski – bass and Zoran Ristevski – drums. The music together is symbioses, from classical and modern jazz, to swinging groove and Macedonian traditional music. The quartet was founded in August 2004 with goal to create modern ethno jazz music. The main concept is mixing musical traditions of two different cultures (Macedonian and American) and expressing with big space for improvisations. With more than 10 years of experience in various stages from clubs, culture presentations and festivals in R.Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and Italy retains the top place in Macedonian jazz scene. with, the Great MILCHO LEVIEV |
