Nel settembre 2007, quando le condizioni si sono rivelate propizie, Kalki Avatara si avvale dell'aiuto di Nighthorn al basso (Hour Of Penance, Malfeitor, Lord Vampyr), Francesco â€œAeshlaâ€ Struglia alla batteria (Promaetheus Unbound, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Lord Vampyr) e con la collaborazione alla voce di Malfeitor Fabban (Aborym, Malfeitor) su "Awaiting the golden age" per entrare nei Fear No 1 Studios di Emiliano Natali ( www.myspace.com/fearnoonestudios ) e dare vita a questo progetto. Il disco liricamente Ã¨ un concept sul Kali-Yuga e su come l'uomo abbia negato la VeritÃ , diventando schiavo della materia uccidendo la sua parte spirituale e divina. I testi sono realizzati unendo frammenti di opere di T.S. Eliot, Novalis, Giovanni Evangelista e mantra indÃ¹. Musicalmente Ã¨ un viaggio mistico tra le macerie della nostra civiltÃ . Per realizzare questa visione, Kalki Avatara condensa le influenze musicali di differenti popoli ed epoche, dal tardoromanticismo alle composizioni atonali, dai raga indiani al folk russo, al metal sperimentale, al progressive, fino a sconfinare nella fusion. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Kalki Avatara is Paolo Pieri solo project (also in Aborym, Malfeitor, Shoreborn, Promaetheus Unbound). In september 2007, found the right conditions, with the help of such musicians like Nighthorn (Hour Of Penance, Malfeitor, Lord Vampyr) on bass guitar, Francesco â€œAeshlaâ€ Struglia (Promaetheus Unbound, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Lord Vampyr) on drums, and with the guest appearance of Malfeitor Fabban (Aborym, Malfeitor) on vocals on the track â€œAwaiting the golden ageâ€, Kalki Avatara enters the Fear No 1 Studios owned by Emiliano Natali (www.myspace.com/fearnoonestudios ) to bring to life this project. Lyrically speaking, is a concept about Kali-Yuga and how mankind denied the Truth, being slave to the material world while killing its spiritual and divine part. Lyrics consist of fragments of poetries by T.S. Eliot, Novalis and excerpts from Johannes evangelion and hindu mantras. The music is a mystical travel through the ruins of our civilization. To accomplish this vision, Kalki Avatara put together musical influences from different lands and ages, from late romanticism to atonal works, from indian ragas to russian folk, experimental metal and even progressive and fusion.
