| Anisha a.k.a(Song Bird) is born and was raised in Trinidad. She started composing music at the age of 15,entered several talent shows in the neighborhood and was selected among the top three. Anisha worked with producers including Master Mike from Tuff Nutt Studios. Migrating to the United States in 2006, she is influenced by artists such as Toni Braxton, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, and Tessanne Chin. Anisha learned quickly the various musical cultures of America. With a unique sounding voice, Anisha has become a local favorite in Brooklyn, New York. Blending various genres of music, Anisha’s music is lyrically diverse. Basing her songs on real life situations,she shows that music can be used to communicate to the massive. Mixing Reggae and R & B produced by Chas Edwards for the rhythm on the song, Still In Love, Anisha has placed her style of music in it’s own category. A video for the song will be released soon. On the song, Different World, Anisha shows her versatility by combining Lover’s Rock with a rap chant by Jah Bami. On Love In Di Air featuring Lyrickal, the sultry rhythm mixed with Anisha’s range gives this song a sizzling mix that one just can’t help but to dance too. More than Powerful, produced by Shumpie, shows off Anisha’s cultural side. Performing with the Ketcha Fiya Band, Anisha has brought back the liveliness of band music. Look out for Anisha who is performing in the New York area and is working on her upcoming album. Anisha is sure to be a force to reckon with.
