The band „Die Away“ was founded in a small town called „Bad Urach“, near Stuttgart (Germany) in 2004. About one year later two of the five members left the band, because of different opinions and expectations concerning the sound of their artistic work. From then on the three remaining founders: Dennis Luik (voice & guitar), Hannes Walz (bass) and Matthias Nau (drums), experimented with a lot of different sounds and tried several ways to get ahead with their ideas until they found their own… their individual way to create feelings of loneliness, pain and deep crushing anger. The songs of "Die Away" are mainly trying to convey the daily darkness…the darkness, which is in everybody’s soul. It's hard to describe this sensual and deep emotional melancholic music, which has claimed the meaningful saying “in death we’ll meet again…” for years.
